The Air Jam Experience: A Firsthand Account

Participating in Air Jam as a freshman has been a very rewarding experience so far! I’ve met so many people that live within feet of me that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. Many of the people I’ve met are upperclassmen; the opportunity to become friends with upperclassmen as a freshman is sometimes limited.

I was very involved in show choir in high school, and some aspects of Air Jam rehearsals are very similar to those of show choir rehearsals. Air Jam definitely provides me with some of the musical and competitive aspects that have been lacking in my life since I graduated from high school.

As I learned in show choir, spending time with the same group of people for multiple hours every night yields a very cohesive group. I look forward to getting to know members of the Honors community better.
